Using this site, or our services or products, and binding effect

This site is maintained for your personal use and viewing. The access and use of this site featuring these terms and conditions (hereinafter: “Terms”) constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. They take effect from the date on which you first use this website.

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party. If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our discretion, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
 We may update or change our site and its contents regularly and at any time. Where necessary, we may suspend access to our site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.

Guidelines and codes of conduct

The Company seeks to uphold the guidelines established by the British Psychological Society. The Company aims to operate in an ethical manner at all times and may stipulate Ethical Guidelines. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any of its services online and off-line, to the Client or User if the Client or User fails to comply with any such Ethical Guidelines.

Value Added Tax

The Company must and endeavours to adhere to current law and regulations governing VAT on its services and any products. The Company reserves the right to make corrections to its application of VAT in case it has incorrectly applied such law and regulations or such law and regulations have been changed and such changes are to be implemented or applied.

For sales within the UK, the Company is required to add VAT at the standard UK rate to the cost of all products or services that are not zero-rated.

The following rules currently apply to sales of products delivered outside the UK:

For sales outside the EU, VAT will not be charged. For sales within the EU to VAT-registered traders, all products will be zero-rated provided the Company has knowledge of the customer’s VAT number at the time of ordering. This applies wherever the goods are delivered to, provided they are not for delivery in the UK. For sales within the EU to non-VAT-registered traders or to individuals, VAT will be chargeable at the UK rate.

Payment

The Company reserves the right to request pre-payment for any orders. Where the order is requested by telephone to the Company, the order will be deemed to be confirmed only upon receipt by first-class post or via email by the Company of a purchase order or written confirmation, clearly marked as “Confirmation of telephone order” on the same or next working day. Orders will only be processed on receipt of this written confirmation.

Invoices are due for payment within 30 days of the invoice date without any deductions including, but not limited to, bank charges. All payments payable to the Company under the Contract shall become due immediately upon termination of this Contract despite any other provision.

The Company reserves the right to charge interest and costs of recovery in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as may have been amended). If the Client fails to pay the Company any sum due, the Client will be liable to pay interest to the Company on such sum from the due date at the rate of 3% per month. The Company shall be entitled to withhold delivery of any products or services or cancel the contract if the Client fails to pay to the Company any sum by the due date.

The Company shall incur no liability in respect of such withholding of delivery or cancellation. Upon such cancellation and without prejudice to any other right that the Company may have, the Client shall be liable to pay damages to the Company for breach of contract and any costs incurred by the Company associated with the recovery of the debt.

This website is provided 'as is', without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security, completeness and accuracy.

We will not be liable to you in respect of any business losses, including (without limitation) loss of or damage to profits, income, revenue, use, production, anticipated savings, business, contracts, commercial opportunities, or goodwill.

The limitations and exclusions of liability in this paragraph will apply whether or not the liability in question arises out of any reckless, deliberate, personal and/or repudiatory conduct or breach of contract. We will not be liable to you in respect of any loss or corruption of any data, database or software. We will not be liable to you in respect of any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.
